2PAC THE MYSTIC is an original Project Astral series that investigates Tupac’s connection to the mystic realm.
We have to label all the symbolism Tupac left behind as a form of mysticism. Niccolò Machiavelli’s “The Prince” first appeared in 1513 under the Latin title: “De Principatibus (About Principalities)” and gained mainstream traction in 1532 — five years after the death of Machiavelli. Tupac Shakur entered the state of Makaveli on September 13, 1996 (Friday the 13th), at the age of twenty-five.
Tupac wasn’t only a musician, actor, poet and revolutionary leader; mystic could be attributed to Tupac in the sense of his ability to captivate those around him. In the song “Bomb First” Tupac raps “Allow me to introduce first: Makaveli the Don. Hysterical, spiritual lyrics like The Holy Qur’an”. This is the first significant sign of mysticism on the Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory album.
A mystic is described by definition:
“involving or characterized by esoteric, otherworldly, or symbolic practices or content, as certain religious ceremonies and art; spiritually significant; ethereal.“
There are two different forms you can take. Left-hand (occultist) and The Right-hand (mystics).
As examined in our “Tupac: Mystic books he read in prison” Tupac held a stance for the Right-hand path. A mystic spreads the message of love and evolution of mankind. Traits of a mystic are ESP (Prophetic visions), knowledge of semantics, having an empathic soul…etc.
Tupac experienced the path to mysticism and established all five levels of initiation.

The number 7 shows up in Tupac videos and of course his music. Synchronicity and it’s relationship to numbers have been documented and Anamnesis connects to Tupac’s obsession into reincarnation.
Anamnesis
an·am·ne·sis
ˌanəmˈnēsis/
noun
recollection, in particular.
the remembering of things from a supposed previous existence (often used with reference to Platonic philosophy).
Do you often recall vague instances of energy? Energy levels are at the highest they’ve been in recollection. Finding yourself takes time and with the RIGHT STEPS, it’ll be a journey worth traveling. Below is a story of my connection to synchronization.
2014
“It was fate or synchronization. I fell into a trance… my writing style changed, personalities clashed. My first poem written in this stage was DOOR EXIT.
Automatic writing consisted of restless nights & research of obscure documents. I stumbled across Fernando Pessoa & an article his Heteronym had written. I felt a belonging to this Heteronym & synchronization meshed. This formed from the practical method of Astral Time Travel; I classify it under the terminology Time Machine Poetry.
I arrived at the conclusion that Fernando Pessoa had to be a Gemini. I was correct. Born on the June of the 13th. I’m also a Gemini, born on the 19th. This also relates to my connection to another Gemini… Tupac Shakur. He has been my main influence since age 13, maintaining a constant force upon my writings & research.”
A few of the number “7” connections to Tupac.
Makaveli the Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. Tupac was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and”died” the FRIDAY THE 13th.
There are 7 shots at the beginning of the song “Bomb First” on the “Makaveli” album.
Tupac’s album “All Eyes on Me” was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac “died” on Sept.13, 1996. = 7 months
Tupac officially died at 4:03 PM. = 7
He “died” at the age of 25 years. = 7
There’s the “I Ain’t Mad At Cha” music video that came out after his death and shows him getting killed in a similar fashion that took place in Las Vegas, this was the last time “2Pac” was used in a music video. The video shows a scene where Tupac gets shot; 7 shots are fired.
The start of the video shows Tupac with another individual that looks similar to Tupac; this is intentional, as it represents the Gemini and duality of his destiny. Tupac pushes ‘himself’ out of the way of the seven bullets and is struck by the gunman. We’ll call this man Tupac 2.
The individual on the ground in the green shirt isn’t Tupac and is a ‘stand-in’ actor. This is meant to be a reference to the body double switch and Devin Clark. Tupac 2 is cradling the body double
Notice how Tupac 2 is looking through the back of the ambulance.
There’s a girl in the background with a Chicago Cubs hoody on, before the scene switches, the actor playing Tupac’s friend moves in front of the girl’s vision, the letters are blurred and now look like LV — the abbreviation for Las Vegas (location of his real death).
And here is Tupac alongside Kadafi. Notice the UNLV (University of Las Vegas) shirt that Pac & Kadafi are wearing, and the Chicago White Sox white.
There’s a light-skinned woman in the ambulance, on the sleeve of her shirt it says “Guardian” is this Javana Thomas from the No Grapes Theory? Is this Tupac’s guardian angel?
There’s a scene, once the ambulance door closes — five sound effects, along with two black-out scenes are featured to make a sequence of seven. This symbolizes Tupac making a transition. We have listed the timestamps of each video still.
Sound effect 1 (29 seconds)
Sound effect 2 (34 seconds)
Sound effect 3 (37 seconds)
Sound effect 4 (29 seconds)
Sound effect 5 (43 seconds)
Black Out 1 (51 seconds)
Black Out 2 (54 seconds)
Essentially… Devin Clark symbolizes the No Grapes Theory connection and his physical death; Javana is present to help with the clandestine operation. Tupac 2 represents Tupac’s duality on earth; and as seen in the picture below – Tupac in heaven symbolizes his saftey from all who wish him death.
Tupac enters heaven and encounters 15 different angels.
Also, the “I Wonder if Heaven Got A Ghetto” video was specifically designed by the director Lionel C. Martin to leave the door open to theories revolving around if Tupac was still alive. Tupac arrives at RUKAHS (Shakur backwards), New Mexico on a helicopter where nuns take care of him. There’s a scene where Tupac gets on a bus, and along the ride, different musicians and revolutionaries get on such as… Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Huey Newton, Martin Luther King, but who is the mysterious guy in the very back?
This looks identical to the mystic Grigori Rasputin. He is widely known for the various assassination attempts on his life, most of these attempts all took place in a period of one night in December of 1916. He was poisoned, shot, beaten, strangled and survived each encounter but finally, his conspirators tied him in a rug and tossed him into an icy river. Rasputin broke out of the bondage and attempted to swim until he succumbed to the cold. Tupac had mystical influences in his music.

(Tupac is led into a room by a woman in red. The room # is 7.)
Papa Legba is a spirit in Haitian Vodou whose job is to act as a “channel” between the living and the dead. In folklore, he’s presented as an old man with a cane. Updated versions depict him as young and energetic. The cane represents the connection to the fertility of the earth. To salute Papa Legba, a follower will present three knocks to ask him to open the door of the unknown. The colors he wears are red and black or white and black. In Tupac’s music video “Made Ni**az” Papa Legba makes multiple appearances. Below is a scene that symbolizes Papa Legba.
Red/White and Black are presented on his jacket. Three knocks close the ceremony of the music video. There’s an additional knock at the very end of the video.
The same scene can be viewed in the “Hit ‘Em Up” video.
Inserted into the Hit Em Up production is a crow that makes itself known; crows symbolize magic and manipulation. They often appear as omens for someone who will soon meet death.
Tupac died on Friday the 13th. EDI is wearing a jersey with the number 13 on it. 13 is a superstitious number.
Below are screenshots from Tupac’s music video “How Do You Want It?” This scene is the last part of the music video that depicts Tupac wearing the green Nike basketball jersey he was also wearing on the night of the Las Vegas shooting. He stares at the two women to the left side of him and quickly moves his head to the right side before it fades into the next scene. This scene is familiar to the shoot-out setup in Las Vegas.

“Composure“
“To be a soldier, must maintain composure at ease.”
Composure is not only a quality fit for men of noble status; upon the walks of creation, we all have this quality. Militarized actions are presented within a mixture of composure and strategic feats committed under the attention of one’s self.
In the book “A Sociology of the Absurd,” qualities of composure and how it relates to Machiavelli is mentioned.
“Now these money hungry bitc*** getting suspicious. Started plottin and plannin on schemes, to come and trick us”
One must maintain composure and have the knowledge to counteract his/her enemies who have obtained the same weaponry, strategic texts, and support systems. Machiavellianism is fueled on deception.
All Eyez On Me (All Eyez On Me/1996)
“COINTELPRO“
“The feds is watchin, ni**az plottin to get me. Will I survive, will I die? Let’s picture the possibility”
The F.B.I.’S COINTELPRO program is responsible for the downfall of the BLA and has been connected to Tupac Shakur’s career over the years. COINTELPRO specifically targets pro-black political entities and receives various forms of intelligence based on “illegal” activities related to their platform; this has been the case of Mutulu Shakur, stepfather of Tupac and supporter of a “Republic of New Afrika.” Click here to listen to the “Dare to Struggle” mixtape that Dr. Mutulu organized for the awareness of COINTELPRO. Surveillance became a constant mainstay in Tupac’s life. COINTELPRO contributed to the spread of false black narratives and propaganda campaigns to discredit prominent black leaders.

Blasphemy (The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory/1996)
“Mysticism“
“Initiated as an Outlaw, studying rules. Now Papa ain’t around, so I gotta recall or come to grips with bein’ written on my enemy’s walls.”
Religious and spiritual texts fuel Tupac’s entrance into Makaveli. The line “written on my enemy’s walls” is a connection to King Belshazzar and Daniel. During wartime, a mysterious writing appears on a wall of the royal palace. King Belshazzar assembles all enchanters, astrologers… etc. None can decipher the writing. Daniel is brought to the King, and eventually, the writing is revealed:
“God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.“
5 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them. 2 While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father[a] had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them. 3 So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank from them. 4 As they drank the wine, they praised the gods of gold and silver, of bronze, iron, wood and stone.
5 Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. 6 His face turned pale, and he was so frightened that his legs became weak and his knees were knocking.
7 The king summoned the enchanters, astrologers and diviners. Then he said to these wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing and tells me what it means will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain placed around his neck, and he will be made the third highest ruler in the kingdom.”
8 Then all the king’s wise men came in, but they could not read the writing or tell the king what it meant. 9 So King Belshazzar became even more terrified, and his face grew paler. His nobles were baffled.
“But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. 23 Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. 24 Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription.
25 “This is the inscription that was written:
“mene, mene, tekel, parsin”
26 “Here is what these words mean:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
27 Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
28 Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
“Living by the Nile while the water flow
I’m contemplating plots wondering where the thought’ll go
Brothas getting shot, coming back resurrected”
“My family tree consists of drug dealers, thugs and killers
Strugglin’, known to hustle screaming, “Fuck they feelings!”
I got advice from my father, all he told me was this
Nigga, get off your ass if you plan to be rich!
There’s ten rules to the game, but I’ll share with you two
Know niggas gon’ hate you for whatever you do
Now, rule one: get your cash on, M.O.B.”
(The Clandestine Revolution)
Tupac grew up around Black Panthers and leaders of the Black Liberation Army which acted as an underground branch of the Black Panthers. The BLA on May 7, 1973, performed a prison break and retrieved political prisoner and fellow Black Panther, Assata Shakur. Assata was serving a life sentence for the murder of two New Jersey police officers. The officers stopped her and two other suspects for a broken brake light on their vehicle, a gunfight ensued. She was also wanted on bank robbery, assault, and other charges. She fled to Cuba where she was granted political asylum by President Castro. Her exact whereabouts in the reclusive country are unknown and political conversations are gearing up for Cuba regarding her extradition.
Kadafi’s father is Sekou Odinga — an expert in clandestine operations, military tactics, and versed in revolutionary philosophy. Twelve years underground were utilized to position and expand the BLA and various factions. He was finally caught in 1981 and recently released in 2014.
Ain’t Hard 2 Find & Ni**az Done Changed (All Eyez On Me/1996 & Seasoned Veteran/1996)
“Prophecy“
“Ain’t Hard 2 Find“:
“I heard a rumor that I died, murdered in cold blood dramatized. Pictures of me in my final states, you know Mama cried. But that was fiction, some coward got the story twisted.”
“Ni**az Done Changed“:
“I been shot and murdered, can’t tell you how it happened word for word.”
Both songs feature Oakland rapper Richie Rich. The lyrics are a forewarning of sorts; ESP and the ability to forecast your destiny through mysticism is well-known in history. Edgar Cayce, Rasputin, and Joan of Arc all had mystical qualities that were adapted to their time period. Tupac initiated a mission to record music at such an intense rate that previously unreleased tracks continue to see the light-of-day. His prophetic lyrics detail the mystical influences in his music during his Death Row recordings 1995-1996.
They Don’t Give A Fu** About Us (Better Dayz/2002)
“Illuminati”
“Some say they expect Illuminati take my body to sleep
Niggas at the party with they shotties just as rowdy as me”
Although Tupac publicly stated he didn’t believe in the Illuminati; many of his fans consider this statement to have subliminal traits of another message being told. In an homage to Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us,” Tupac approached the subject matter head-on with “Some say they expect Illuminati take my body to sleep” and obscure lines such as “Before I flee computer chips”. Who killed Tupac? The “No Grape Theory” provides a look into the BLA.
This is an official PROJECT ASTRAL investigation.
